If you're a person that doesn't like a lot of fluff, then going Rustic may be your choice when decorating for your Wedding. Here is a hand-tied bouquet of Floramatique Peonies (they're not real, but they look and feel like a real peony). We have added bunches of fresh lilacs for a casual feel.
These would make lovely ceremony decorations, using old maple syrup pails.
Rustic tin ceiling tiles with masses of fresh lilacs , these would look lovely hanging on a fence or a wall.
Signage is important at a Wedding - use an old ( or new) cabinet door, print up your sign on a computer, transfer onto wood by tracing over carbon paper.
We used Cottage Paint on the door in the colour Cloudy Day , then a flat varnish on top for protection. Buy Cottage Paint at our store, The Camellia or check it out on line at http://www.thecamellia.com/buy-cottage-paint--classes.html
If you are having an outdoor Wedding, consider having an area set up for your guests with our no-see-um nets - these are 40 ft wide on the bottom, and can be hung anywhere. They come in this small pouch and when you open the package, the hoop springs out to a full size hoop.
If you are using Mason Jars in your ceremony, you can use Cottage Paint ( this is the colour Veruca) to paint your jars. Fill with garden blooms. Just allow a longer dry time between coats, no 1/2 hour recoat time, on glass it would be more like 1/2 a day between coats.
For that perfect rustic touch for centrepieces, we have Black Ash wooden slices, these are a good size, and they are sanded, but not sealed. We have approximately 50 of these wood rounds for rent. Call to book a free Wedding consultation with Camille, or visit The Camellia between Wednesday and Sunday.
