The Camellia will be at the Thunder Bay Wedding show 2014.

Just engaged? Planning a Wedding? The Thunder Bay Wedding Show is coming up on Sunday March 2, at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre Thunder Bay from 11am until 4pm. This is a great show to see many Wedding service professionals in one place. ( Gotta love that when it's minus 500 with the wind!!)

Looking for flowers? Searching Pinterest for ideas? I made these from a post on Pinterest -       from coffee filters. Dangerous place for DIY'ers. is Pinterest.

You don't have to have fresh Flowers - look at these lovelies which I made from fabric & Buttons. Come into our Booth # 41 ( next to Maverick )  to see lovely Bouquets made with these flowers and brooches. Best of all, they won't wilt after your Wedding, and will be a great keepsake.

Come out our Bridal Open House at our store, the Camellia, on Sunday March 9th. 2014, for a free Make-and-take Workshop on Making a rolled Rose. We are at 30, Hacquoil Rd.

Come see us on the Main stage at 1.50 p.m. when we will be demonstrating how we transfrom yard sale finds into masterpieces, like this gaint frame we picked up at a yard sale for a $1.00.

This will be a great addition to your Wedding decor - you could do a storyboard of how you met...

Kleinfeld, Hudson's Bay, Toronto.

Those who attended the recent Bridal Show at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto were treated to a sneek preview of Kleinfeld ( Hudson's Bay), a Bridal Salon like no other, scheduled to open in May, 2014. 20,000 sq. ft. of Bridal, to be exact.

Stunning Bridal Gowns, from famous Designers around the globe.

For most girls, it's all about THE Dress. One can appreciate all the dressmaker details in these dresses, and somehow I can't see an episode of Trash the dress with these gowns. Prices range from $7,000 to $12,000.

Some of these gowns were modelled in the Fashion Show at this event.

No outfit is complete without accessories, and these do not dissappoint.

Look at all the Flower details on this Gown ... they seem to float in air.

I'm currently working on some Navy blue satin roses for a bridal bouquet, so I can appreciate the hours of  work that would have gone into making the flowers for the gown above.

Here's another bloom I've been making... love the texture and Vintage feel of it.

They make a cute centrepiece for a Vintage themed Wedding - Mason jar is painted with Cottage Paint which you can purchase at The Camellia, or online at www.thecamellia.com

When researching Kleinfeld's in New York, I came across this article. You can read it, and comment below if you have visited the New York Kleinfeld's . Judging from Kleinfeld's display at the Bridal show in Toronto, it looks like it will be a beautiful, top-notch Bridal Salon, and a great place to find your Vision.

Kleinfeld Hudson's Bay is on the 7th. floor of Hudson's Bay Queen Street - 176 Yonge St. Toronto. On. Appointments will begin in May 2014 for Brides whose wedding date is November 2014 or later.  p.416-861-6600.    www.kleinfeldbridal.ca
