The Camellia will be at the Thunder Bay Wedding show 2014.

Just engaged? Planning a Wedding? The Thunder Bay Wedding Show is coming up on Sunday March 2, at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre Thunder Bay from 11am until 4pm. This is a great show to see many Wedding service professionals in one place. ( Gotta love that when it's minus 500 with the wind!!)

Looking for flowers? Searching Pinterest for ideas? I made these from a post on Pinterest -       from coffee filters. Dangerous place for DIY'ers. is Pinterest.

You don't have to have fresh Flowers - look at these lovelies which I made from fabric & Buttons. Come into our Booth # 41 ( next to Maverick )  to see lovely Bouquets made with these flowers and brooches. Best of all, they won't wilt after your Wedding, and will be a great keepsake.

Come out our Bridal Open House at our store, the Camellia, on Sunday March 9th. 2014, for a free Make-and-take Workshop on Making a rolled Rose. We are at 30, Hacquoil Rd.

Come see us on the Main stage at 1.50 p.m. when we will be demonstrating how we transfrom yard sale finds into masterpieces, like this gaint frame we picked up at a yard sale for a $1.00.

This will be a great addition to your Wedding decor - you could do a storyboard of how you met...

Thunder Bay Wedding show, 2013, The Camellia

The Thunder Bay Wedding Show  ..an explosion of colour, bling, glamour, exciting displays, a fashion show and so much more!! So excited to be part of this Show. Here's one of the lovely models from Luxe Boutique  standing in our booth!

Here at The Camellia, we specialise in the best quality faux-botanical bouquets, custom made for your special Day, like the Bouquet in the above photo. Looks real, and you get to keep it after as a centerpiece in your home. Some Brides like the idea of everything done ahead of time, which is impossible with fresh flowers. Colours like teal and turquoise are difficult to find in a fresh flower. And some are allergic to the pollen in fresh flowers... nothing glamourous about a sneezing, puffed-up Bride or Groom..

Wedding favours for the guys, hand -tied fishing lures  --fun and practical. Order on-line at www.yourperfectcatch.com

Burlap Runners, tablecloths, and drapes... here I stencilled the initials of the Bride & Groom. Think about the shape of your tables, the length of your tables, and ask us for a quote. Volume discounts may be available.  Burlap is HOT!!

These Roses are also faux, but don't they look real?
