Tabletop arrangements, The Camellia, Thunder Bay

Hello there!! Today, I want to share with you some tabletop arrangements I  recently designed. Just look at this colour combination! One can't help but feel happy..!  The springy-ness of the Lime greens, the splash of sherbet orange with the Tropical Amazon Roses, and the creamy whites of the double Tulips. When planning a Wedding, one often forgets about putting a small arrangement in the Salle de Bain.. The size of this design is just right, flowers are placed in a tall Mason jar.

This design  is made with the help of a sisal collar, which helps to keep the stems in place. It is a great design aide, and we sell these at our store.

Look at the colour of the peppermint carnations, against the green hypericum berries, and the white Star of Bethelem.

Hydrangeas  .. loved by most, but so quick to wilt. These flowers need a lot of hydration, so if you are using these in your arrangements, best to have some extra stems on hand, and someone who can go around during the event checking for water levels and replacing stems if needed. I was at a wedding recently where the girls' bouquets were wilting by the time the Reception came around...you really don't want to have this happening .

Ornamental Cabbage, variegated pitt, and gerbera daisies add interest to this design.

This design uses Swiss cheese leaves, and Magnolia foilage, along with white Stargazer lilies.

Wedding decorating for Bride's Home

When you are planning our Wedding flowers, decorations for the Bride's home may be forgotten in the confusion. There are usually photos taken here, and flowers add so much to the home.
Think about Centerpieces for the tables, wreaths on the front door, arrangements like this one which graces a Hallway antique dresser.

This Italian planter box contains a stunning arrangement of hydrangeas, amaryllis blooms, seeded eucalyptus, and cedar branches. Make sure to keep the hydrangeas well hydrated.

Single stems in a small square vase look wonderful on the table, and allow for great conversation as they are kept short in this example.
Come into the Camellia to discuss options for your Wedding Flowers today.

Bridal Table decor

Candelabras SO make a statement at Wedding ceremonies.

If you are getting married mid to end of summer, plan on using Hydrangea blooms. They are very showy, and look beautiful in Flower arrangements, but wilt quickly, they need to be in a large container for lots of hydration.
Come out to our Bridal Showcase event tomorrow, Saturday Feb. 19th. at Bloomers, 330 South Archibald St. 1-4p.m.
Have a Happy Family Day weekend!
